报告人简介: Rodrigo Pérez Fernández教授一直在造船史、船舶工程和行政管理、燃气和蒸汽轮机等领域从事科研教育和管理工作,曾担任海军舰船总工、CADPLM顾问和项目经理,目前为西门子数字工业软件高级产品总监,是皇家造船学会(RINA)理事会成员,造船和轮机工程师学会(SNAME)西欧分部委员会委员。在船舶工程领域已出版多部专著,发表论文一百多篇。

报告摘要:

Marine Digital Twin with sustainability involves creating virtual representations of vessels and maritime infrastructure to enhance their operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and promote sustainable practices. The approach combines data analytics, simulation, and advanced modelling techniques to support decision-making processes and improve overall performance. By utilizing Digital Twin technology, various aspects of maritime operations can be analysed and optimized for sustainability including energy consumption, emissions reduction, fuel efficiency, maintenance planning, and resource allocation. The integration of sustainability into engineering marine Digital Twin can lead to several benefits. It enables the identification of energy-saving opportunities, optimization of operational processes. By simulating different scenarios and evaluating their environmental impact, stakeholders can make informed decisions to minimize the carbon footprint of maritime operations. Digital Twin plays a crucial role in considering ecological factors during product planning and design, as this phase accounts for up to 80% of their life-cycle environmental impact.
